My Background in Interior Design

Started my freshman year of college when I took a course that helped decide your major. After researching many majors I landed on interior design. I graduated in 2015 with a B.A. in Interior Design from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Out of college I was offered a position at Wessco Blinds in Seattle. Wessco operates a showroom for custom window coverings with a primary line of Hunter Douglas products. After learning the ins and outs of window coverings for 2 years I transitioned to a Design Consultant at Ann Sacks Tile & Stone. Working there provided me with elevated experience in the interior design industry. I worked closely with members of the trade and end users, helping them specify tile, Kallista plumbing and Robern medicine cabinets for their projects. I was with Ann Sacks for 2 years as well. Before moving to Boise I secured a job at California Closets as a Designer. I’ve worked here for over a year now and work primarily with homeowners designing storage solutions for all areas of the home using the latest 3-D modeling programs.
